The grass was greener ...

The grass was greener ..., High Hopes, Pink Floyd
"High Hopes"

Beyond the horizon of the place we lived when we were young
In a world of magnets and miracles
Our thoughts strayed constantly and without boundary
The ringing of the division bell had begun

Along the Long Road and on down the Causeway
Do they still meet there by the Cut

There was a ragged band that followed in our footsteps
Running before time took our dreams away
Leaving the myriad small creatures trying to tie us to the ground
To a life consumed by slow decay

The grass was greener
The light was brighter
With friends surrounded
The nights of wonder

...

"High Hopes" is a song from the 1994 Pink Floyd album, The Division Bell, written by David Gilmour and Polly Samson.

What an awsome job for a beginner. You are getting really good shots.

Love the tips. As a beginner myself (started last August) I find the little reminders of something new each day, helps to build up the understanding of photography. It's like driving - you can't learn everything in one lesson.

Will now start using the one on getting the detail of large objects. Tks.
Simple and expressive. I love it! :)

Are you really a beginner? Photos look really good. Maybe you want to post what camera you took it with, which lens, exposure, etc.

Thanks for the comments :)

I started with photography last July when I bought my camera, a Canon Powershot S3 IS . Since then I've been reading photography tips from Internet.

The Powershot It's a really good camera for the knowledge that I have right now. I think that someday I'll buy a dSLR.
